A Typical Workday for an Affiliate Marketer
September 6, 2008

In this article we are going to look at a typical workday for an affiliate marketer. We will go on the assumption that you are lucky enough to stay at home and work for yourself full time. So what are you going to do all day now that do not have to get up and go to work.
You drink a cup of coffee, turn on your computer, and log in to check your email. After checking e-mail you get to do the fun things like see how many sales you made while you were sleeping the night before. You probably did.
Back to your email. As an affiliate marketing professional, you know how important it is to develop relationships with fellow affiliate marketers. Because of this you only spend as much time as necessary returning emails.
After checking your blogs and websites to make sure they are working correctly it is time to sit down and write a new blog article. You already have a swipe file where you get ideas and today you decide to write an article that you have been seeing a lot of discussion going on in your favorite Internet marketing forum.
You you bring up your Word tracker software to find a keyword that receives a 100 or 200 searches a month for the keyword that you want to target in your blog article. You are able to write your article quickly because you based it around the keyword where you use it in the title, once in the body, and again in the closing paragraph. In the body you hit 3 or 4 main points.
You also spend some time bookmarking your blog post to your favorite social networking directories. Because you believe in article marketing you decide to take your blog article and expand on it for an article that you can submit online to various article directories.
You use Submit Your Article to get your articles out online, which allows you to rewrite your article and turn it in to hundreds of unique variations. All in all, it will spend about two hours blogging, social bookmarking your blog post, and rewriting your article with Submit Your Article.
The rest of your day is spent trying to create links back to your blog and website. You do this by posting comments on blogs that relate the theme of your blog, and by writing posts in various discussion forums. You know the importance of working hard if you want to keep your affiliate marketing checks coming in.
