One of the biggest problems to be faced by many gamers who use portable consoles is that amount of time it takes for theirs to either boot up or upload the game that they want to play. However this is where the Sony PSP differs from other games consoles including the Nintendo DS is that it comes with a sleep mode facility. As soon as you hit the button which turns on this feature the PSP will stop and will only recommence booting up or uploading the game from the point when it was stopped when the button has been pressed again.

As long as you have the right memory stick then you are quite capable of playing MP4 formatted movies on your PSP. But in order to do this you need some software which enables you to convert the movies over to the right format. But although you can get some for free it is better if you purchase your converter to ensure that you dont down load unwanted files etc.
