Whether you actually believe in them or not, the truth is that people everywhere are intrigued by the possibility of alien life forms visiting our world. Some people will swear that they have been visited by, abducted by, or have witnessed aliens and their space craft. It is one of the most talked about unsolved mysteries of our time.
Archeologists have discovered many places throughout the world that seem to lend some credence to the possibility that our planet has been being visited by aliens for thousands of years. Whether they are confirmed believers or not many people love to watch the television programs that deal with information concerning unidentified flying objects and their occupants. Ufologists, as they are being called now, probably never miss a new show that comes out. There is also much information about this topic that can be researched over the internet.
The X-files television series, while it did not deal solely with extraterrestrial themes, was extremely popular to television viewers when it first came on. It first aired in1993 and ran for nine years, ending in 2002. The show dealt with many paranormal subjects, but some of the best loved episodes were towards the end of the series when detectives Mulder and Scully dealt largely with the alien issues. This show was viewed in many countries and its reruns are still very popular.
