Tim Kring Shares Clues About Heroes Volume 3
October 13, 2008
Heroes finally ended with a cliff hanger last night, with a whole new set of questions we are all dying to answer. First of all, who shot Nathan Petrelli? We could vaguely see that its a white man with dark hair, but theres a lot of those on the show so no luck. Next, Niki was trapped in a building that exploded. Now is she dead or alive? Shes pretty much a vital character, and a hot one at that, so hopefully she walks. What will happen to Micah if and when she dies? Will he grow up with no parents at all? Would it turn him rebellious? Moreover, what happened to Angela Petrelli? Is she evil for keeps? And who are the individuals to comprise Sylars new gang of baddies?
Creator and executive producer Tim Kring gives us a sneak peek at whats to come in the next volume entitled Villains.
First of all, Nathan and Nikis fates are up in the air and will be determined when we come back after the strike, Kring told TV Guide. Things are fairly dire for them both.
We hope this doesnt mean too much of a bad thing.
Moving on to Kristen Bell, who by the way impressed Kring a lot with her performance, her character Elle was last seen doing some good stuff, as she was able to save Mohinder, Maya and Molly from Sylar. Kring said, For a moment there, Elle sees shes been given an opportunity to use her powers in a good way. And she absolutely likes the sound of that word hero.
Kring added that Villains will be focus on the bad guys (thus the title) and how they get together and get out to destroy the world, much to our original heroes chagrin. Of course theres a possibility of Sylar being in the forefront of the baddie campaign, but we may depend on Peter and Claire to save the day. Hopefully.
Kring also mentioned that the writers strike has been timely for the show, as Zachary Quinto A.K.A. resident evil Sylar is currently filming the new Star Trek movie, where he plays the young Spock. At least he could be back to reprise Sylar when Heroes begins production after the strike is over.
